This is a nutritious, healthy and tasty drink. This can be enjoyed with the breakfast on its own or added with oat or any other cereal of your choice.
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 mug of milk, any type of milk can be used as per your preference
- 1 tbsp of mixed seeds – sunflower and pumpkin ( equal quantities of both seeds mixed & stored in an airtight glass bottle)
- ½ tsp of chia seeds
- ½ tsp of ground flax seeds
- ½ tsp of coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp of mixed berries – raisins, cranberry and goji berries ( equal quantities of 3 berries mixed & stored in an airtight glass bottle)
- ½ tsp of plant based pea protein ( optional)
Method:
- Take a pan. Add one mug of milk and keep on medium heat.
- Add all the above ingredients and bring it to boil.
- As soon as it starts boiling, bring it to simmer and stir it a couple of times with a spoon
- Leave it to simmer for 5 minutes
- Ready to drink now.
- Pour it in the mug.
Special note:
- Any other milk such as soya, almond or oat milk can be used to make it vegan.
